Xiaomi, which continues its efforts to expand its product range, is gearing up for the highly anticipated release of the Redmi Pad SE, a tablet that has been making waves with numerous leaks. While the exact unveiling date of the tablet with its budget-friendly features and design remains uncertain, the increasing number of recent leaks suggests that it will hit the shelves very soon. Redmi Pad SE specs
The Redmi Pad SE will have dimensions of 255.53 x 167.08 x 7.36mm and weigh 478 grams. It will also feature an 11-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, a 90 Hz refresh rate, a pixel density of 207 ppi, a maximum brightness of 400 nits, a contrast ratio of 1500:1, and cover 70% of the NTSC color gamut. The device’s screen-to-body ratio will be around 84%.
Powering the model will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor. Manufactured using a 6 nm fabrication process, this chipset hosts 4x 2.4 GHz ARM Cortex-A73 (Kryo 265) and 4x 1.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A53 cores, alongside the Adreno 610 graphics unit.
The tablet, expected to come with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, will be fueled by an 8,000 mAh battery capable of charging at 10W speeds. Allegedly, users will enjoy up to 21 hours of video playback or up to 12 hours of gaming. Lastly, the tablet will feature a 5-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel rear camera when it meets the users.
